Welcome to Fit Me Pink!

Welcome to our new fit blog! As stay-at-home mom's, the to-do lists are never ending. There are mouths to feed, diapers to change, hands to wash, laundry to fold, floors to sweep, bruises to kiss, bills to pay, groceries to be shopped for, clothes to buy, and the list goes on. We have found that keeping exercise at the TOP of our to-do list is the only way we are able to stay sane with the countless other things demanding our time and attention. Once the workout is done, we can relax and conquer. It is our hope that this blog will inspire other mama's to set aside the to-do lists for a while for the much needed YOU time. What's looming on your to-do list today? Can it wait for just a bit so you can get some exercise? Dust off that bike, break out the jump rope, go for a walk, find that gym membership! Get up and move, people! And come back to visit for more fit tips and tricks to fit you pink in your personal quest to become a fit-a-licious mama!

If I read this, can I count it as my exercise for the day?

Great idea! Can you add suggestions for us prego mamas that want to be more active, but have a hard time? I was within reach of my physical goals when I got pregnant and I would love to not start all over again! Thanks!

Well, I'm not a mom, and I'm not a woman, and pink isn't my favorite color, but I guess I'll add it to my reader and check the updates.

And, congrats on getting it off the ground.

Christie--this can DEFINITELY count as your exercise for the day...IF your computer is an old school, HUGE bulky lap top. March around the room while doing shoulder presses with said laptop and you're good to go!

Yay! I want to be a "fit me pink" grand-mama. Is that possible? I look forward to being part of your community! Thanks

The eliptical kept me sane as a prego mom. Also, fast walk/jogging to the park every day helped me feel better. Exercise is said to reduce swellin in the legs and to shorten labor. Good luck

I will totally look here to add my support, but I am so not a work out person. Maybe FIT ME PINK will change my mind?!?!

This is a great idea. I love to be fit. I usally just do my thing all by myself though, and I don't really talk about it much. I guess there's still a little girl inside of me that wants to be the "strongest woman in the whole wide world." :)
